COACHING
Coaching is for individuals wishing to enhance their performance in the workplace. Our coaches understand the challenges you face as a professional seeking to enhance the environmental credentials of your organisation through methods that avoid the label 'greenwashing'.
Whilst we specialise in green coaching it is likely you will also benefit from the coaching experience in a number of areas in your work and career. Coaching is used to improve performance in a number of areas such as time management, problem solving, creativity, working relationships, customer service and quality.
"Coaching is unlocking a person's potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them - a facilitation approach" Whitmore 1992
"Coaching Psychology is for enhancing well-being and performance in personal life and work domains underpinned by models of coaching grounded in established adult learning or psychological approaches" (Grant and Palmer 2002) To find out more and have an informal chat to see whether coaching might suit you or individuals in your organisation click here for contact details
TRAINING
Ampleo trains staff to better understand what a green employer is trying to achieve. It also undertakes Interviewer Training and Assessor Training. Training individuals to recruit more astutely, using tools such as STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) will enable them to make sound recruitment decisions.
Ampleo focuses on the environmental aspect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) - one of the buzz phrases of the 21st century business world and something every business wants to be seen to be practising. Ampleo ensures that a business is proactively helping the environment, while its employees are receiving focused and targeted developmental support. This may involve working with and for a chosen charity.
Workshop: Greening your office
Did you know that your employees can play a major role in turning your business green and in reducing your environmental footprint?
The sustainability of your buildings from insulation, energy-efficient equipment and the way your premises are managed (providing recycling and good building maintenance) are vital to reducing carbon emissions generated by your business.
Another important factor is the behaviour of the people using your buildings. Even if a building is low energy and has environmental facilities, surprising amounts of energy and resources can be wasted if people are not aware of the impacts their actions have on the environment such as leaving lights, monitors and copiers on all night.
This interactive and practical workshop is aimed for those employees who want to be green champions and inspire others to make green actions daily practice.
The workshop includes:
- setting up a green action team
- getting management on board
- involving and inspiring colleagues to take
- green actions
- writing inspiring green messages
- tracking progress
- making change sustainable and fun
