Our Responsibility
Ampleo helps businesses meet their sustainability goals, and we are committed to achieving best practice in our own sustainability performance and responsibility.
We aim to minimise our use of energy, water and resources in everything we do.
By operating as a model green business, we strive to demonstrate best practice to others. We regularly monitor progress towards our sustainability objectives, and involve all our team in achieving our goals.
Green Credentials
Travel
We encourage our staff to take part in the bicycle scheme, and insist on public transport as the primary mode of transport wherever possible. Our staff are offered the option of a car club where appropriate, and options to work from home help to reduce travel.
Recycling
We donate redundant equipment and furniture to local reuse schemes. We recycle all paper, cardboard, tins, cans, plastic bottles and glass, and we compost our organic waste.
Ethical awareness
Ampleo only invests in ethically sound financial services. Wherever possible we use suppliers with strong ethical credentials. We also support a number of local and global charities.
Social awareness
We can offer our services to non-profit making organisations at a reduced rate where the project will achieve good environmental outcomes.
"Ampleo are a very good example of a company that understands the interconnectedness of business needs and the need for the sustainable use of resources. Their approach to help organizations reduce their environmental footprint is thorough, robust and practical."

Going Green Working Group
Anna Kane is the convenor of the Going Green Working Group. The group facilitates, encourages, generates research and best practice on changing people’s attitudes and behaviours around environmental issues. Regular events and conferences are a key activity for the group, plus a number of research projects to enhance our understanding of how to tackle sustainability in the workplace.
Anna leads a core group of volunteers, and is actively involved at events for example presenting at conference or hosting the occasional workshop. The GGWG is run purely by volunteers and is funded by the British Psychological Society’s Division of Occupational Psychology.
EcoLocal
We work with EcoLocal on a number of projects. EcoLocal is a Sutton based charity who have developed and piloted a range of tools and services including environmental information, training, practical support, and neighbourhood engagement/social networking.
Carshalton Environmental Fair
We are a regular contributor to one of the London Borough of Sutton's most popular annual events, which brings together thousands of residents from across the borough to raise awareness of environmental issues.
