Going Green: Leading Edge Symposium
This symposium will help us to consider how workplaces can get their employees to focus more on environmental issues such as recycling and conservation, as well as consumer perceptions of businesses’ environmental practices.
Who Can Attend?
We welcome you to attend this day whether you are an Occupational Psychologist, HR professional or simply interested in how Occupational Psychology and related professions can inform a range of solutions to what many see to be the biggest challenge facing modern society.
The day will be a mixture of applied academic research and organisation best practice. There will be a range of sessions including key note speakers, a Q&A panel and smaller interactive sessions. A great CPD opportunity and for keeping yourself abreast of what the experts and your peers are doing.
£99 for members (DOP & BPS)
£149 for non-members
£49 for students
Where is it?
Held against the backdrop of the colourful heritage from the canal age, the event will be in the attractive, unique and unusual Canal Museum venue. Based in central London, it is located within walking distance of Kings Cross, St Pancras International and Euston. The Canal Museum is accredited as a member of the Green Tourism for London scheme, a part of the nationwide Green Tourism Business Scheme. There is disabled access throughout the building.
Monday, 26 April 2010 – 9:00 to 17:30
Enjoy free wine or a soft drink after the 17:30 close. A great chance to network, or simply take the opportunity to look around the fascinating museum; see inside a narrowboat cabin and learn about the history of London's canals.
Register your interest now. Ticketing begins in February. Send an email to dopme@bps.org.uk, and put ‘Going Green Symposium’ in the subject line.
